That was when I heard about people putting their negative opinions about this term- Web 2.0

What is Web 2.0
The second generation of World Wide Web which lets online users to collaborate and share information, such as myspace.com and flickr.

Where did Web 2.0 come from
It was a brainstorming result of web development conferences between O'Reilly and MediaLive International in Oct. 2004.
(to know more about this see link http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/oreilly/tim/news/2005/09/30/what-is-web-20.html)

How to make Web 2.0 websites
It's complex and evolving. It includes server software, content syndication, messaging protocols, standards-based browsers with plugins and extensions, and various client applications. Web 2.0 applications often use a combination of techniques devised in the late 1990s, including public web service APIs (dating from 1998), Ajax (1998), and web syndication (1997).

This really makes me laugh. A very well done site used Flash 8.0 which support vedio footage a lot more than previous version! It also interact a lot with its users, ask him questions and he is gonna give you some ***king brilliant answers.
