I enjoy surfing and have new found every day

today's new found is Podcast
Podcasting is "iPod" + "broadcasting".
also defined in Wikipedia a term used to describe a group of technologies for distributing audio or video programs over the Internet using a publisher/subscriber model.

If you have iTune on your computer (Any digital audio player or computer with audio-playing software can play podcasts)
The Podcast function is on the left-hand menu, along side with Radio, Library, and Music Store. Click on Podcast and click Podcast Directory, then you will be guided in the Music Store, where you can search all Podcasts. There are Today's Top Podcasts and Top 100 Podcasts for you to choose.

Podcasting is not streaming broadcasting. For people who want to listen, tt is created for the audience to listen when they want, where they want and how they want. For people who want to publish, it enables you to create self-published, syndicated "shows." There is an article about How to Podcast in Oct. 2004 by Phillip Torrone, for anyone who is interested in making their own podcast.

In October, 2005, Apple unveiled the first iPod with video capability, which demostrated the video podcasts Tiki Bar TV. On December 03, 2005 Sony announced that PlayStation Portable would support podcasting. And "Podcast" was crowned by the editors of the New Oxford American Dictionary the 2005 word of the year in December, defining it as "a digital recording of a radio broadcast or similar program, made available on the Internet for downloading to a personal audio player."

So now I am going to listen to the Photoshop tutorial on Podcast.
